Esso (Oxford Oxpens) has closed down as part of new Westgate redevelopment.
Hence I recorded £0.00 as price of fuel.

      Hello ‘Enoch Powell’

We’re having a technical issue at the moment which is stopping the search facility working correctly. But you can still find petrol stations in your area by clicking on the map and sliding around. Then zoom in on your area to find petrol and diesel prices near you.

Fantastic website. Alright the location search doesnt work. However once i manually moved the map to the correct place, all my local garages are there and I can see the prices for petrol.

Brilliant, i now know which way to go home this evening to get the cheapest petrol.
    Thumbs Up !

My local garage is charging 12p more than your website states! This is a complete waste of time.

The system relies on users providing updated information. Each price has a date next to it indicating when the price was entered.

This facility is still growing — more users will make it more accurate.

Did you update the prices to the latest figures? If more people updated prices rather than criticising them for being out of date, the system would be more useful for everyone…

      Hi Ian,

Thanks for your feedback. We’re aware that there is a technical problem with the location search at the moment. There’s a notice above the map advising users about this. Unfortunately this service is provided by a third party so we have limited control over it. We’re hoping to get it fixed at some point soon.

In the mean time, you can find locations by scrolling around the map and then zooming in.

Regarding out of date prices, some areas are more up to date than others — the data in the system is provided by users, so the more people who update it, the more useful it will become. This too is a work in progress as user numbers rise.

      Regards,

      Roland

      Hi Anna,

Thanks for your comment. I understand it’s frustrating if the prices you want haven’t been updated recently. But the system relies on users to keep prices updated. It’s a work in progress — the more people who add prices, the more useful it will become.

      Hi Bob,
We’re doing our best to resolve this. Unfortunately there are some external elements of the problem that aren’t under our control. These are taking time to resolve.

      Regards,

      Roland

I admit that prices are out of date in some areas. But as has been said before, the system relies on users to submit up to date prices. The more people who take part (it only takes a second) the better it will work.

      Hi James,

If you zoom into the Swindon area, there are quite a lot of petrol stations marked on the map. Not sure why you couldn’t find these.

You must have been unlucky. Most of the prices for Cardiff stations have been updated much more recently — although I admit they’re not all as recent as we’d like them to be.
