ŠKODA has launched two colourful new special edition models, the Fabia Colour Edition and the smaller Citigo Colour Edition.
As the name suggests, one of the main attractions is a bold new set of colour choices, along with an enhanced standard specification. The Colour Edition models come in a range of bold colours with contrasting alloy wheels, roof paint and wing mirrors.
The Fabia Colour Edition models include 16-inch alloys plus LED daytime running lights and cruise control as standard. These extras would normally add £1,045 to the price of the Fabia SE, but the Colour Edition costs only £540 more than the SE model, saving buyers a nifty £505.
The Fabia Colour edition is available with two petrol engine options – 1.0 MPI 75PS or 1.2 TSI 90PS. The former is priced from £13,360 with the latter priced from £13,990.
If you’re in the market for the smaller Citigo — Skoda’s smallest model — then the choices are similar.
The Citigo Colour Edition is available in Tornado Red, Candy White, Deep Black Pearlescent and Spring Green and comes with sleek 15” Black ‘Auriga’ alloy wheels as standard.
Colour Edition models come with Entertainment Pack (additional four speakers and multi-media holder), front fog lights, Special Colour, Sunset glass and PID (Portable Infotainment Device) as standard. Motive power is provided by a 1.0 MPI 60PS petrol engine.
If that’s not enough then remember that these extras would add £1,845 to the list price of the standard Citigo SE model. Buyers of the cheaper Citigo Colour Edition specification save up to £630.
The Citigo Colour Edition range is priced from £9,990 for the three-door and £10,350 for the five-door model.
